Teams have gone back to the affected areas now after the holidays to resume work (although many never left!). Here are some reports:

RAISING THE PHILIPPINE FLAG IN TACLOBAN CITY HALL TO SEND THE MESSAGE THAT WE WILL RISE UP AS A NATION – BY THE HELP OF GOD !

We would like to thank all of you, our dear friends and partners, for your huge help and participation in our relief and development efforts for the people of Tacloban. So much praises and thanksgiving were lifted up to our Lord as a result of the love that you have not withheld but generously shared to them. The task has just started and there are a lot more work to do.  But one thing we are so sure of … the cover of darkness in the place has now been completely pierced by the light.  Faith, hope and love have invaded the devastated areas and the people are fast rising up and taking hold of the new life that Jesus has offered them.

As of this writing, some of our folks have returned and will continue on with the work of rebuilding the communities and people’s lives.
